Shop the 2027 Fords at Kunes Ford of Antioch

The 2027 model year brings Ford's trucks and SUVs a wave of upgrades, from a new standard V6 in the F-150 and Bronco to an off-road Tremor trim for the Explorer and Expedition. Most of these changes are updates to proven designs rather than full redesigns, so the Fords you know keep their strengths while picking up new power, new capability, and new style. Here is a look at what is new, what is changing, and what carries over as you shop at Kunes Ford of Antioch.

The F-150 swaps its 2.7-liter V6 for a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, brings the 5.0-liter V8 back to the King Ranch and Platinum, and adds BlueCruise with Towing (hands-free driving while pulling a trailer of up to 10,000 pounds on compatible highways). A new Carhartt edition debuts on the F-150 and the Super Duty. The Bronco gets a detuned version of the Raptor's 3.0-liter V6 (380 horsepower), plus new Filson and RTR editions. The Explorer adds a Tremor off-road trim, and the Expedition adds a Tremor of its own (440 horsepower), a 24-inch panoramic display, and a 30th Anniversary Appearance Package. The Transit makes the Ford Security Package standard on Cargo Van and Passenger Van XL and XLT models.

Engine lineups shift in a few places. The F-150 and Bronco retire the 2.7-liter V6 in favor of the 3.0-liter. The Super Duty narrows to two engines: a standard 7.3-liter gas V8 and an available 6.7-liter High-Output Power Stroke diesel (500 horsepower and 1,200 lb.-ft. of torque), and the Tremor package becomes available on the entry XL. Lower-priced Tremor and Raptor entry points arrive on the F-150, and the Bronco drops the Stroppe Edition.
